The national anthem describes the history and motivates the nation.

The national anthem of Pakistan describes that Pakistan is a sacred place where people are united. It declares the national flag as the leader of progress. Prays for Pakistan to live long and accepts the kingdom of Allah.

Lyrics of the national anthem of Pakistan as are following :

پاک سرزمین شاد باد             کشورِ حسین شاد باد

تو نشانِ عزمِ عالیشان                  ارضِ پاکستان

مرکزِ یقین شاد باد

پاک سرزمین کا نظام                  قوتِ اخوتِ عوام

قوم ملک و سلطنت                     پایؑندہ تابندہ باد

شاد باد منزلِ مراد

پرچمِ ستارہ و ہلال                    رہبرِ ترقی و کمال

ترجمانِ ماضی شانِ                   حال جانے استقبال

سایہؑ خداےؑ ذوالجلال
