     Pakistan is a beautiful country. The nature has bestowed Pakistan with the beautiful mountains, deserts, rivers, streams, the amazing system of canals, climate, weathers, a big useful sea etc.

The name Pakistan literally means "land of the pure". Its full name is "Islamic Republic of Pakistan". It is a country of South Asia. It shares its border with India, Iran, Afghanistan and China. 

Pakistan came into being on 14th August, 1947. Its motto is "Unity, Faith, Discipline". Its official languages are "English" and "Urdu". Different languages like "Pashto, Punjabi, Sindhi, Kashmeeri, etc." use in different regions.

The founder of Pakistan

 The founder of Pakistan is Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was the man of firm and faith. He was also its first Governor General.

The national poet

 The national poet of Pakistan is Allama Muhammad Iqbal. He wrote many poems and books. He gave the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims.

Pakistan is a developing country. Its area is 881,913 km2. It has about 351 cities and about 45,640 villages. The economy of Pakistan is dependent on agriculture.

Pakistan has five provinces : Punjab, Sindh, Pakhtoon Khuwah, Balouchistan and Gilgit Baltistan. Pakistan has four seasons : summer, Winter, Autumn and Spring. Pakistan has mainly five rivers : Sutleg, Ravi, Jhelum, Sindh, Chenab, Indus. The longest river is Indus River.

 It has many lakes but the largest lake is Manchhar Lake. There are  150 dams in Pakistan. It holds the title owing the largest dam on earth; Tarbela dam.

                    Most of the clothing factories are in Faisalabad. That is why; Faisalabad is famous as the "Manchester" of  Pakistan version. The city "Sialkot" is famous for sports equipment. The national poet of Pakistan "Allama Iqbal" was born in this city. Sialkot produces world's best sports equipment like Cricket bats, cricket balls, helmets, gloves, wickets, hockey sticks, hockey balls, footballs etc. . It is so famous that the footballs for "FIFA World cup 2018" brought from Sialkot. It is also famous for surgical instrument, musical instrument, leather textile etc. Karachi is the biggest city  of Pakistan. It is called "the city of lights".

 Wazirabad is famous for its knives. A main city of Pakistan "Lahore" is so famous for colleges  that it is called "the city of colleges". The smallest city of Pakistan is "Jehlum". etc.

      So, Pakistan is a very beautiful country. It has many facilities. Everyone should definitely visit Pakistan once.
