Muhammad Bin Qasim
The concept of Pakistan came on that day when Islam came to the sub-continent.
In the sub-continent, Islam came through Muhammad Bin Qasim (an Arab conqueror of Sindh and Multan regions, Pakistan) in 711. After a long time there were many Muslims in the sub-continent. In the beginning of 13th century, several Muslim stats were established.

The first Sultan of Delhi
After sometime  the rule of Muslims had started. The first Sultan of Delhi was Qutbu-I-Din Aibak.
The Mughal Empire started in the 16th century. The first Mughal Emperor was Babur. This Empire ended in the 18th century. Its last emperor was Bahadur Shah Zafar.

When the Mughal Empire ended, the people who were unhappy in the Mughal Empire started their own countries.

Robert Clive
In 1608, British came to India for trade. Men liked Robert Clive. They make him wealthy. When he became wealthy, he became powerful. So, he and other traders gained control over huge swaths of India. And the British rule started. In a short time, British began ruling over India.

War of Independence-1857
In 1857, the “war of independence” fought. It was fought by Indians against the rule of British. It did not spread throughout the India. It was unsuccessful due to disunity, the lack of central leadership, etc.

Mohandas Gandhi
In 1885, the Indian National Congress formed. Mohandas Gandhi was its leader. Actually British made this organization to suppress the freedom struggles.Gandhi ji made it as a means of freedom struggle. The Indian National Congress said that the “Muslims” and “Hindus” are brothers. But in 1883, Sir syed ahmad Khan had already presented the “two nation theory” which states that the Hindus and Muslims are two separate nations by every definition.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah as a lawyer
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah(the founder of Pakistan) was a lawyer in Bombay(now Mumbai). In 1906, he joined the Indian National Congress because he was an ardent supporter of Hindu-Muslim unity. But soon he realized that by freedom the Hindu’s meant “Hindu-Raj”. He was very disappointed. So he left the Congress and joined the All India Muslim League in 1913. It was a political party and made in 1906 to safeguard the rights of Indian Muslims. In 1930, Allama Iqbal(the national poet of Pakistan) addressed at Allahabad and gave the idea of separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. He said that the regions where Muslims are majority should be a separate homelande for them. In 1934, Muhammad Ali Jinnah became the president of the Muslim League.
On 23rd March, 1940, under his presidentship the “Pakistan Resolution” passed. He worked hard day and night. At last he and all the Muslims blessed by Allah and Pakistan came into being on 14th August,1947.

Millions of Muslims migrated to Pakistan from India. How they migrated and what were their difficulties? This is another a very long topic. But I want to tell you that all the refugees arrived to Pakistan in poverty. The had no money. They had lost their wives, children, cousins, and of course they had lost all. We all pry for them and salute them.

Anyway, now Pakistan is a developing country. It is fighting against terrorism. Everyone should definitely visit Pakistan once.
